While this new law that is being passed allows people who have become pregnant from rape, incest, fatal fetal abnormalities and the life/health being at risk of the mother to have an abortion, this law still should not be passed in my opinion.

It's extremely restricting for women to have this law against them, it takes away a large right from them. I understand that people want to have sex for fun, and they have the right to do that. But birth control and condoms don't always work.

This law completely restricts a woman who willing had sex, but had used a condom or birth control that failed, to have the right to abort. Say that you are dirt poor, almost near homeless and have barely enough to scrape by to live just for yourself. You have sex-with a condom or birth control-and then you got pregnant. Since you can barely live with just enough for yourself, do you think that would be a good place for a baby to grow up? 

I've heard stories of family members and friends being raped or even had consensual sex while being in a really bad place, and they didn't have a baby. But then there's always that thought in the back of your mind: what if they did have a baby? Would the baby have survived? What would have happened?

The only thing that would have actually possibly been able to protect them, would have most likely been an abortion. Now that option apparently being taken away.

This law is going to apparently be put in place on September 15th, 2022.

It's completely unfair that women are having this right taken from them, as this will ruin multiple lives with unwanted pregnancies.

This does not solely affect Indiana, either. If all of the states ban abortion in the same way Indiana is attempting, then large problems will arise for the United States. Those problems aren't a matter of if, it's a matter of when they will happen and if the government will change the law for what the American citizens vote for.
