September 9, 2016 was a day where recommendations went all wrong.  The BLM’s Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board decided to recommend the killing of captured wild horses and burros as what they considered to be an emergency measure. They’ve decided that they want to clear the holding pens so they can round up 40,000 more wild horses and burros and remove them from their home.  WE MUST BE ADVOCATES FOR THESE ANIMALS!!!

Are you kidding me?  THIS IS INEXCUSABLE AND MUST NOT HAPPEN!!  What is about to happen is absolutely inhumane and we as a people should not allow such things to happen! Take a stand and let's get as many signatures as horses about to be slaughtered!!

Wild horses have lived on our earth for centuries!  They've helped humans through war, find safety, bring smiles, carry food and shelter, help build, and so much more…..so where are earth do they deserve to die?

The crazier thing …. just before this recommendation came down, the BLM actually cancelled cruel sterilization experiments on all of the wild mares, yet another thing the public outraged towards, giving the BLM nothing but a steady stream of lawsuits tied to it. And if that wasn’t enough, the agency is now focusing on mass killing of these amazing animals who technically are true national icons!  The only way this can happen though is if Congress and the Administration authorizes this ridiculous and cruel and heartless plan.

We as Americans should NOT stand for this!!!! You can have your own voice!  You can tell the Administration as well as Congress that we will not stand for this and that we demand our wild horses and burros be protected and preserved on OUR public lands, not rounded up and killed or worse, sold for a brutal slaughtering.

WE HAVE THE POWER TO GET CONGRESS TO STOP THIS MADNESS!!
