After reading it in the patch notes, and trying it out on the beta myself, i have to say, this is the one change i am most unhappy with as an active druid player.

I have been playing druid since the start of the Burning Crusade, and one of the most unique things about this class is obviously, the ability an FREEDOM to shape shift. With Blizzard combining the 3 buttons into one, they are taking away our freedom to choose which travel form to shift into.

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want the game to choose my travel form for me! An i know i am not the only druid alone in saying this, there are TONS of forums created regarding druid feedback on this horrible idea for a change:

^ And that’s just a few of the many druid threads from concerned druid players. And as fare as i can tell, blizzard hasn’t done anything to truly acknowledge our concern.

I get that they want to "minimize button clutter". Lots of spells are being combined into one, but come on blizzard, our shape shifts? Its not like the whole 2 buttons took up any extra space, or even our main action bars. We LIKE being able to choose for ourselves.

As of right now, if you have flying in a place like kalimdor, eastern kingdoms, outlands, northrend an pandarea, you can NOT use your stag or cheetah form. Why? Because it automatically chooses flight form for you. You know, sometimes i don’t always want to fly around, sometimes i want to just use my stag form, expessuaily when doing things like archeology, or just chilling out in a town an having dance parties with my fellow druids. WE LIKE TO HAVE FUN TO BLIZZARD

I know there is a glyph that separates the travel form (for stag) as a separate button, however, this glyph only allows us to be used as mounts an our 40% speed...I know many druids, along with myself, had planned on getting the new gylph, allowing travel form to be used at 100%. I would be using my stag form ALOT more if that had been available a long time ago. This new glyph however...you can only choose 1. To either have the button separated an be a slow 40% mount, or merge the button for 100% speed...but never be able to use it outside of WOD, an certain dungeons/bgs/arena....

If anything blizzard, then make this something that can be glyphed. Give us back our forms as they are now, an if people out there want to merge there travel forms, they can do so with a  glyph, Theres already a handful of druids (and i literally mean handful) who use a macro for this, but why make this change for ALL of us, just because a SMALL portion of druids use it?

You know the saying, don’t fix something that isn’t broken. Well there’s nothing wrong with how our travel forms are now, so don’t try to "fix" it. To my fellow druids out there, please sign this petition. We have made plenty of forum posts an so fare blizzard has turned a blind eye to us, please, help spread the word so we can stop this change!
