Overwatch: Ban Mouse & Keyboard Players on Consoles

Blizzard senior designer Jeremy Craig made a comment with regards to cross-play on Overwatch between PC and Consoles.
"From a gameplay standpoint, mouse and keyboard has a little bit of an advantage in terms of being able to spin really quickly. And our game is pretty fast-paced. It just felt like there was a little bit too much of an advantage."
"It just seems like the console crowd is going to love playing against the console people; the PC people will love playing against PC people."
I commend Blizzard for taking this stand, I think it is reasonable and fair.
However, it is clear that there are players on console who are still using a mouse and keyboard and are having a significant advantage over those who are using a controller.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if majority of the Top 500 players on console are actually using a mouse and keyboard.
Whether you consider this cheating is your own decision, but the facts are simple:
- Blizzard does not want players using a mouse and keyboard to mix with those using a controller.
- Those playing with a mouse and keyboard against other players using a controller, are blatantly going against Blizzard's wishes.
Call it what you want, but I call it cheating.
As a console player I cannot access the official Blizzard forums, and my posts on reddit and Facebook are immediately lost in the multitude of Overwatch memes and Sombra ARG posts.
This was the best way I could voice my opinion, and I know a lot of the other players I play with feel the same way.
I don't even know if it is possible for Blizzard to regulate if a player is using a mouse on keyboard on a console, but I feel it at least warrants a discussion and a response from Blizzard.
