Singer and Songwriter Christina Grimmie passed away hours after sustaining gunshot wounds while signing autographs after a show in Orlando, FL June 10th 2016 at the age of 22. 

She was a young and talented artist, beginning her craft at a very young age when family recognised her exceptional talents. Rising up in popularity on Youtube as a cover artist she claimed she wanted to stop doing covers and write her own material. Her biggest public breakthrough was on NBCs The Voice where she became a member of Team Adam Levine and placed third in the competition in 2014 - after writing several of her own songs already. Her craft only gained momentum from then on and she went on to release several singles and an EP after her The Voice debut. 

Christina Grimmie was also an avid gamer (having a Subscriber button and partnership with Twitch.tv) and a big supporter of eSports for popular games such as League of Legends and Smash4.
