Mei has rapidly become one of the most despised heroes in Overwatch because of her ability to render players completely immobilized, as well as her bothersome ice walls that have more often than not impeded on her own teammates, contributing to their deaths. She is incredibly impractical as a teammate and even more of a nuisance as an adversary. It's because of this dilemma regarding her constant interference to the game that she is often discouraged from team compositions during online matches and is the number one cause of grief, rage quitting, and communication blocking in the game's online community.

As of lately, the abhorrence towards Mei has escalated to the point that fans have begun entertaining the idea of her possibly being removed from the game entirely in the near future. An outcome which I too wish to see become a reality. It's not a matter of lacking in skill or being ill tempered. The fact of the matter is that Mei just simply sucks the fun out every game she is in. No other hero has caused this much disdain in the Overwatch community. The best solution would be for her to just leave.

On the other hand, if Blizzard were to at least acknowledge the severe hatred fans feel towards Mei and find an alternative solution, perhaps nerfing her abilities to be more fair and less vexatious for teammates, that would also be an adequate outcome.
