Overwatch has been a popular, enjoyable game with a large fanbase for many years now. Recently, the amount of people playing it have dwindled quite a bit and I know that some fans are requesting a Battle Pass to remedy this, but I, and plenty of others, are hoping that instead Overwatch could be created into an animated film to bring in more audiences and grow the fanbase even larger. There already are many well-done animated shorts and origin stories, and each character is so well designed and given a specific history and storyline, that many people are dying to see an official film that brings all of the characters together, based off of the stories told in the shorts and potentially, beginning at the point where Winston calls together Overwatch again in the shorts or going through how it began and how all of the characters met and interacted and go into detail as to what happened that caused Overwatch to be shut down. It would be a shame to see such creativity and fleshed-out stories and characters not end up with their own official film.
