For the past 23 years blink-182 has been an awesome band! Their music made pop punk cool and their talent undeniable. I could easily go on about this band, but I feel that unnecessary because if you are reading this I am sure you have heard some of what makes blink-182 great.

On Jan. 26 It was announced they would be breaking up for a second time. This came as especially devastating as it was on the heels of a new album being recorded.

 However, beyond just new music it hurts to see such a great band fall apart the way it has. That is why I am starting this petition to ask all 3 members of blink-182 to come to terms with one another and reconcile whatever the hell it is that has sparked this split. While I do not doubt some of the blame is not misplaced, it would be selfish of the band to dissolve in such a manner that punishes the fans and deteriorates what should be an amazing legacy of the best crappy punk rock ever heard. Even if new music is too much to ask for, the simple knowledge of knowing things have been reconciled and the occasional show still played would make things sit 100 times better.

This is why I sincerely ask the members of blink-182 to consider the prospect of reuniting. As I'm sure they know, their music has made millions of lives at least just a little better and that alone should be reason enough to at least keep the band together.
