Stop Blackpool City Council from closing Blackpool Strip clubs

The Issue

Following Bristol's recent attempts to ban strip clubs, Blackpool councillors are set to discuss a ban of their own as they believe it will "cut violence towards women" and "clean up" the image they have, to become a more so-called "family holiday resort"

Since COVID-19 forced businesses to shut their doors for over 12 months now, it would be detrimental to not only the immediate staff (i.e. dancers, bar staff, management and security staff), but also the suppliers of these venues and business networks of which would, of course, compromise our wider economy.

I am one of many, who believe there is more to this than the "clean up" they claim it to be with comments of SEVs being "seedy in the extreme" which seems to be more like the typical 'slut-shaming' we come across so often.

Please stand with us, in fighting Blackpool City Council and their plans in following this Witch-Hunt, as other parts of the UK are next and soon enough our girls won't have anywhere to work. Manchester and Hackney are next and we refuse to let this go without fighting our corner
