Australian Energy Ministers are deluded and continuing to pursue Net Zero and The Transition To Renewables, will only end in load shedding (big companies being compensated to shut down), power rationing and blackouts!
1. They are deluded that man-made CO2 increases the Earth’s temperature. Response: This idea is completely wrong. CO2 (a trace element) makes up only 427ppm (parts per million) of the World’s atmosphere. It is essential for life, particularly human life, if it falls below, 180ppm, living creatures struggle to live and green areas become arid. 2. They are deluded that continuing to pursue Net Zero will benefit Australia. Response: For Australia pursuing Net Zero is a waste of time and resources. As China, India, Russia, USA and the rest of the World go full tilt operating 2,200, coal fired powered stations, making the closing of our 18 coal fired power stations, to reduce CO2 emissions, of no consequence for the World’s temperature, but economic suicide for Australia.
3. They are deluded to believe that a Grid, relying completely on a constant supply, of base load electricity 24/7. Can be powered up to 82% demand, by part-time Solar and Wind Catchers and BESS. Response: It is impossible for Renewables to generate reliable, base load electricity 24/7, because of 16 hours of darkness, clouds, rain, gales and wind droughts. The result will be power shedding, rationing and blackouts.
4. They are deluded that so called Solar Farms and Wind Farms, generate reliable, low cost electricity. Response: It is impossible for them to generate reliable, low cost electricity. Because the fact is that they are part-time Solar and Wind Catchers. That only supply electricity 25% to 35% a day. They cannot produce on demand. Cannot guarantee to produce for a continuous 4 hour period. Are not profitable without subsidies. And if all costs were to be recovered, the electricity cost charged would make it the most expensive in the World.
5. They are deluded in thinking that putting, tens of millions of electrified solar panels, thousands of wind turbines on 280m towers, in the middle of mountain ranges and farmlands. Plus 100’s of Lithium Battery Energy Storages scattered across Rural Australia will not create a fire risk. All protected only by 10m firebreaks and a few fixed tanks of water. Response: It will turn Rural Australia into a potential powder keg. Only three or four of these potential incendiary devices need to ignite on a Total Fire Ban Day with 43dC temperatures and a 75km/hr NW wind. To set off infernos to burn out Rural Australia.
6. They are deluded in thinking that Wind Turbines slaughtering birds 24/7 will have no effect on the Environment. Response: Places that have wind turbines report that Wedge Tailed eagles have disappeared. It is an Elephant in the room, that when recognized it will be too late. Birds play an important part in eating insects, grubs and locusts, spreading tree seeds, cleaning up dead carcasses. Will we see a ‘Silent Spring’ because all our birds have been slaughtered?
7. They are deluded in thinking that all these Solar and Wind Catchers, along with the BESSs and HV Transmission Lines, in 15 to 20 years, when they are worn out, will simply disappear and the Countryside will magically return to what it was before. Response: Who is going to do all the dismantling, disposal and restoration? What is it going to cost and who is going to pay? Where is the many mountains of toxic rubbish going to be disposed off? Will it go to landfill or will it be abandoned as a toxic, eyesore of a wasteland?
AS THE TRUTH IS REVEALED, IT BECOMES VERY APPARENT THAT OUR PETITION TO STOP THE CLOSURE OF MORE AUSTRALIAN COAL FIRED POWER STATIONS AND KEEP THEM RUNNING IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
This includes Eraring NOW 2027, Yallourn NOW 2032), Bayswater in 2033, with Loyang A in 2045 and all other coal fired power stations.
And no consideration of them being closed be considered until assured supplies of base load electricity 24/7 is available from coal, gas or uranium powered generators. Even if this requires the coal fired generators be compulsory acquired by the relevant Government, in the National interest and to maintain the supply of base load electricity 24/7 that is essential to STOP the Grid from collapsing.

Particularly at 7pm and 7am (Or a time that suits you?) watch (and record) the mix of coal, gas hydro, batteries, solar and wind generation and the prices per MWh for each State on the AEMO dashboard.
Example: Eastern States 12th June 4.25pm AEST. Batteries 0%, Biomass 0%, Black Coal 47% Brown Coal 12%, Gas 18%, Hydro 16% Diesel 1% Solar 3%, Wind 3%. 4.25pm a time when Solar only an hour away from entering its daily 16 hours (lack of fuel), zero production period. Unreliable wind is all over the place averaging only 3%, but ranging from a pathetic 0% in Vic and Tas up to 19% in SA.
To underline the importance of our coal fired generators 12/06/25, 4.25 pm AEST. In NSW coal is producing 70% Solar 1%, Wind 1%, Qld coal 69%, solar 5% wind 3% Vic Brown coal 61%, solar 1%, wind 0%. SA batteries 0%, gas 70%, solar 3%, wind 19% and Tas hydro 95%, wind 0%.
WITHOUT COAL AUSTRALIA WOULD BE BLACKED OUT.
