EMERGENCY - The introduction of Trump’s tariffs, means all activities to achieve Net Zero by 2050, must cease. Australia will have to become much more competitive as soon as possible. And that means, that the worthless pursuit of Net Zero by 2050 must stop immediately. It is worthless because Australia contribution to Co2 emissions is only 1.4% of the World’s emissions and other Countries, China, India, Russia and the USA are producing 60% plus of the World’s Co2 emissions and have no intention of reducing their emissions.
The main emphasis on reducing climate emissions, must be replaced by putting a top priority on the electricity consumer, domestic, business and public, by providing low cost, completely reliable base load electricity, 24/7. NO COMPROMISE.
Having the Coalition win the coming Federal Election is the top priority, as Labor, Greens, Teals and Independents, all have the one aim of closing all our coal fired power stations and banning the mining of coal and gas. Our living standards have shrunk by 8%, our productivity is abysmal, one million people seek food relief and heating homes will be impossible for many this Winter. This cannot be allowed to continue.
ALL WHICH WILL MEAN THAT IT BECOMES MORE IMPORTANT THAT OUR PETITION TO STOP THE CLOSURE OF MORE AUSTRALIAN COAL FIRED POWER STATIONS HAS TO BE HEARD.
This includes Eraring NOW 2027, Yallourn NOW 2032), Bayswater in 2033, with Loyang A in 2045 and all other coal fired power stations.
And no consideration of them being closed be considered until assured supplies of base load electricity 24/7 is available from coal, gas or uranium powered generators. Even if this requires the coal fired generators be compulsory acquired by the relevant Government, in the National interest and to maintain the supply of base load electricity 24/7 that is essential to STOP the Grid from collapsing.

Particularly at 7pm and 7am (Or a time that suits you?) watch (and record) the mix of coal, gas hydro, batteries, solar and wind generation and the prices per MWh for each State on the AEMO dashboard.
Example: Eastern States 20th March 2025 8.50pm AEDST. Batteries 0%, Biomass 0%, Black Coal 50% Brown Coal 16%, Gas 12%, Hydro 14% Diesel 0% Solar 0%, Wind 8%. 8.50pm a time when Solar has entered a daily 16 hours (lack of fuel), zero production period. Unreliable wind is all over the place averaging 17%, but ranging from only 3% in Tas, up to 46% in SA.
To underline the importance of our coal fired generators 07/03/25, 8.30 pm AEDST. In NSW coal is producing 78% Solar 0%, Wind 10%, Qld coal 74%, solar 0% wind 6% Vic Brown coal 71%, gas 6% hydro 14%, solar 0%, wind 9%. SA batteries 0%, gas 75%, solar 0%, wind 23% and Tas hydro 87%, wind 10%.
WITHOUT COAL AUSTRALIA WOULD BE BLACKED OUT.
