I have some very good news. In part because of the publicity we've gained through you're helping us raise awareness of Jeans death and my situation, and 14 months of unrelenting advocacy by many people, I am being transferred to a safer, long-term hospital!

Let's not loose focus! Jean's death remains investigated and achieving the goals outlined in this petition are critical for ensuring the welfare of 1000's of gender-diverse patients in Massachusetts' DMH hospitals.

On an unrelated note: I have been careful to avoid politics that is not directly related to this petition in updates but if I am anything I am a human rights activist and as most of us know our rights are being eroded on many fronts and we have an active genocide against the Palestinian people going on.
Like many I am not pleased with the two options that will be on the presidential ballot coming in November.
I came across a few alternative presidential alternatives that I have been following and I have to say the Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate impresses me immensely (that's getting hard to do these days).
She is actually pro-workers, pro-LGBTQ, anti-genocide, human rights focused and has the tenacity to actually follow through with her promises. She was even recently arrested for holding the line at a pro-palestinetine rally. Good PR but also major street cred in my book.
Recently the New York Democrats passed legislation at the last minute in an attempt to keep her off the ballot, about the most un-democratic move the Democrats could have made and I feel called to bring attention to this extend her ask for help.

She is asking anyone who can come to New York to help get signatures to get her on the ballot to do so. It is extremely time sensitive. Please take a look at her post, like it, share it, donate and/or show up in New York to help her get on the ballot.
