We respectfully ask Black Tartan Kitchen and Stalwart Brewing Company to cancel the roasting of a full pig at their upcoming Feast of Fall on September 3, 2017 at the Carleton Place Canoe Club.

The roast of an entire pig is completely unconsciable and archaic.  Children will likely be present at this event and should not be exposed to this type of cruelty and exploitation of a beautiful sentient animal.

There are so many other cruelty free food options to offer attendees without displaying the complete body of a dead animal.

Please choose other food options and remove the pig roast.
