On March 24th, 2016, Justin Bieber and his team cancelled all future Meet and Greets on his Purpose World Tour. Justin took to his Instagram to say that they leave him "feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy." 

While fans are all understanding of the reasoning behind the cancellation of the Meet and Greets, the fact that no proper compensation has been offered by BKSTG (the promoter for the Purpose Tour VIP Packages) is absolutely ridiculous. 

People have paid from $925 USD (for a group photo with Justin) to $2,000 USD (for an individual photo with Justin) for these "VIP" packages. Now, instead of the chance to meet Justin, exclusive merchandise, a backstage tour (for the Ultimate Package holders) and entry into a VIP hospitality lounge, all that's left in these so-called VIP "packages" is your ticket to the concert. 

Partial refunds have now been offered at $375 (for the $925 package) and $500 (for the $2,000 package). This means fans are still paying $550 - $1,500 just for a ticket! When we asked for partial refunds we did not ask for the rest of the package to be taken away along with the Meet and Greet!

To put these hefty ticket prices into perspective, the next-best VIP Package (which never included a Meet and Greet) sold for $375, and these package holders are still receiving their merchandise with their purchase. So that means they are actually getting MORE than what the people paying $1,500 or $550 (with the partial refunds applied) are now getting, for up to 1/4 of the price!! How is that fair?!

Fans have been scammed and ripped off as the only other option they have is to get a full refund and forfeit their concert ticket completely (which is unreasonable as most of the shows are now sold out).

We should really be entitled to a full refund AND get to keep our concert ticket to compensate for the huge inconvenience and disappointment caused by this unorganised and ever-changing situation - but instead all we are asking for is to be able to keep our merchandise and other VIP perks, and receive a reasonable refund of 50% of the original purchase price. 

Nowhere in the Terms & Conditions for these packages did it say that they were subject to change, or that the meet and greet with Justin Bieber could not be guaranteed.

WE PAID TOP PRICE FOR GOODS AND SERVICES THAT ARE NO LONGER BEING OFFERED, SO WE ARE DEMANDING A REASONABLE REFUND, AND TO STILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE CONCERT.

WE WILL COMMENCE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS IF WE ARE NOT OFFERED THE REFUNDS WE ARE ENTITLED TO.
