Dear people of Bitou and outlying areas,

We wish to invite all citizens in the region to sign this petition to end lockdown and reopen the town to business. To defy the unconstitutional lockdown. Open the economy and allow the residents and medical professionals to informed decisions and lay out rules/laws regarding the COVID-19 issue. 

We wish to demonstrate to the Bitou Muncipality and government that we do not accept this movement of imprisonment. We would like to suggest that the heartbeat of the town/outlying areas and its economic activity should be determined by it's citizens and not a dictatorship.

We would like to give the COVID-19 medical response team the power to make decisions regarding the proper healthcare systems and social interaction guidelines. We respect the presidency and the officials in their guidelines implemented until thus far. The lockdown was initially necessary due to the lack of information on COVID-19 but now we know more. We need to adapt and do better than this lockdown "solution". 

We would like to suggest that the municipal government listens to reason and let the communities voice be heard.
