We are not allowed to wear pajama pants, yoga pants, leggings, no shorts, no midriff tops, tank tops, top with low necklines, tops that are too tight, no clothing with insulting, obscene, or suggestive images or messages. This only leaves us with jeans or sweatpants. My question is why can we wear jeans and not leggings. Leggings cover just as much as jeans. Many teachers and administrators say that they are “too tight” or “it distracts the boys”. Why should I and many other girls stop being comfortable and happy because guys can not control themselves? Maybe they should be more focused on the guys instead of girls. Also many female teachers wear leggings on a normal day. Now why can teachers wear leggings and the students can not?
