Fr. Bob is willing and able to continue as our Pastor and has informed the Bishop that he would like to continue. The Bishop could have graciously accepted his wish to continue. Instead, the Bishop has accepted Fr. Bob's compulsory (per Canon Law) resignation because he just turned 75.
