Dear Friends,

While we have another week before the Rockford City Council is expected to take a final vote on the fate of the Chancery, please join us tonight (Monday) at 5:30pm at Rockford City Council Chambers to show our continued support for saving the Chancery, St. Peter’s School and the adjacent Convent Building, which collectively we are calling by their original name, Piety Hill.

We are also preparing for our next phase of advocacy. Unless the Rockford Diocese comes agrees willingly to collaborate (which we still hope and pray they will), we are preparing for our Yard Sign Campaign as well legal battles beyond the City Council’s vote next week.

For now, please join us tonight at City Council and let me know if you would like a Yard Sign by emailing me at morrissey.larry@gmail.com. Our first batch of Yard Signs have been ordered and we expect to be installing them this coming weekend.
