What: PRE-COUNCIL RALLY

When: 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday, May 6

Where: In front of Rockford City Hall, 425 E. State St.

Please join us at Rockford City Hall Monday from 4:45 to 5:15 for a final push to Save the Piety Hill Chancery before the final City Council vote that evening that will determine the fate of the Piety Hill Chancery! 

We got a boost this past week when Landmarks Illinois named the Chancery to the advocacy group's "2019 Most Endangered Historic Places in Illinois". (See https://www.rrstar.com/news/20190501/landmarks-illinois-lists-former-rockford-chancery-among-most-endangered-places Unfortunately, this has not helped to sway several Rockford City Council members who seem intent on letting the historic Chancery be demolished. 

We expect the vote to be very close and that's why we need your help!

Your advocacy and support to save the Chancery is critical and just may help us get the final votes we need! Please join us Monday for our push to save the Chancery. We will gather on the sidewalk in front of City Hall's Main Entrance at 425 East State Street. Join us and let the City Council know you want them to vote to grant Landmark Status!
