Help British Family Escape From Abduction In Sudan
The Issue
A family of 6 from Birmingham are being held against their will in Sudan by their father/ex-husband who pretended to have serious heart problems in order to lure the family to visit him in Sudan. The man falsified medical papers as evidence to suggest his heart condition was terminal, prompting the family to go visit him. Unfortunately this was a ruse and the family are now being held at gunpoint by their father and his family. Their passports and belongings have been taken but the family have already contacted the Dutch Embassy for new passports, however they have not received them yet.
We are desperately trying to receive help from the FCDO, West Midlands Police and The Embassy of the Netherlands in Sudan/London to investigate and find this family as soon as possible.
We need to raise awareness of this issue as there are young children (12, 14 and 17) who are severely traumatised and want to return home to the United Kingdom. The family feel hopeless right now and it is our duty to ensure the safety of these civilians. Please help by sharing this story!!
