Australia's apex predator, the dingo, is headed to extinction very quickly due to current legislations. The dingo is not only a culturally significant species but is absolutely crucial to Australia's unique eco system as a top order predator. We urge you to speak up and show that we do NOT want another (iconic) species to become extinct. This petition is to show there IS a need for a dingo education and conservation sanctuary to be established in FNQ. If the dingo can not be listed as a native species, then unfortunately our only way of protecting their existence is through a captive environment (sanctuary)  Biosecurity QLD have only ONE goal in mind...to completely eradicate, with no ifs, buts or maybes. By signing this petition you are not only helping to give a voice to the voiceless but you are also showing Government that we will not stand by and watch the dingo disappear. Our contribution to a solution (in QLD) is a sanctuary where they can safely live out their life without fear of persecution.
