We are also trying to help ensure the passage of ACT for ALS, House Bill 3537. The bill provides funding for Expanded Access programs and money for research. An easy way for you to help is to add your name and photo (if you have one) to the I AM ALS Every Community Map https://iamals.org/action/every-community/ I AM ALS uses this information to show legislators that they have concerned constituents in their district and therefore they need to support the bill. The more the better. The goal is to cover every legislative district throughout the country so that elected officials sign on to co-sponsor the bill. North Carolina especially needs representation. 
 
Also for the New Jerseyans in the group, I AM ALS especially needs people who live in NJ-Congressman Frank Pallone's district to sign the map (New Brunswick, Woodbridge Township, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, Edison, Piscataway and Asbury Park). Pallone is the chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Even better if you know a person with ALS or their family who live in those towns to get them to sign the Every Community Map.
