Jejomar Binay is one of the front runners to be the Philippines' next leader. As 2016 nears, piles of allegations of corruption against him have been unearthed, such as overpricing buildings, rigging bids, and using dummies to store his hidden wealth, which amounts up to P11 Billion. The Vice President has repeatedly denied all these claims, but reliable government agencies, such as the Anti-Money Laundering Council, have already proven their ill-gotten wealth. The Senate has also discovered tons of information about their malicious deeds in their hearings. As a Filipino, this matters to me because the Philippines is at a critical point. The next administration will show the way to progress, knowing that our country's economy is at a high. If we want to continue the gains of the Aquino administration, we must not allow a person with numerous plunder charges to gain the helm. The Vice President, amidst all the corruption charges against him, should resign right now as a consolation to all the taxpayers he has stolen from for his personal gains.
