Please sign this petition to have Lincoln county TN animal services service all of Lincoln County. Currently they will only provide service to Fayetteville City. This leaves homeowners and residents across the county to handle animal related issues for themselves. Most times this involves residents themselves putting animals down  (if sick or dangerous). This is not the most humane solution. Another option is to try to catch these animals and have a Vet put them to sleep which endangers residents as well as the cost they incur. Some are left with little option but to simply relocate the animals (drop them off somewhere) which just transfers the problem and possible danger to another resident. This is something that has affected every resident at some point in our county and neighboring counties as a lot of times people will drop animals off in the neighboring county/state line. These animals are breeding unchecked and potentially spreading diseases to family pets and even humans. People have been bit, property destroyed, pets killed. This is the  job of Lincoln County Humane society. We all pay taxes, therefore Fayetteville City should not be the only place serviced by LINCOLN COUNTY. Please have everyone you know sign asking our Mayor for a solution!
