In August of 2011 Steve Dezember II was diagnosed with ALS. Instead of packing it in and giving up on life, he decided to live life to it's fullest. He asked his girlfriend Hope to marry him and they started an amazing adventure together. They have dedicated their lives and time to raising ALS awareness and created the documentary HOPE for Steve.

Hope and Steve Dezember, with their determination and ability to live life to it's fullest have touched and inspired so many people.

One of Steve's wishes is to meet and spend time with a man who inspires him. Bill Murray the actor.
