TN family who sold home to pay for diabetes meds weighs in on bills that cap insulin cost

Newly proposed Tennessee laws would cap insulin costs and provide transparency in medical pricing.

HB451 and HB449 are sponsored by State Representative Jason Hodges (D-Clarksville-D67).

HB451 would put a cap on the amount of money a health insurance company can charge a patient out of pocket, limiting the total to $100 for a 30 day supply of insulin.
