Newly proposed Tennessee laws would cap insulin costs and provide transparency in medical pricing.

HB451 and HB449 are sponsored by State Representative Jason Hodges (D-Clarksville-D67).

HB451 would put a cap on the amount of money a health insurance company can charge a patient out of pocket, limiting the total to $100 for a 30 day supply of insulin.
