The United States Constitution specifically mentions the right to self defense with a firearm. Geographical barriers have been placed on permit holding Tennesseans, barring them from enjoying the same measure of personal protection on college campuses that current laws afford them virtually everywhere else in the state. Legislation that would allow full-time permit holding faculty members at public colleges and universities to conceal a handgun on campus is currently on the Governor's desk. Let Governor Haslam know that placing geographical barriers on Constitutional rights is both unjust and immoral.
