See above.  This is Gallo.  He was killed on Sunday, August 9th, for no other reason than the Manhattan ACC ran out of room. Young, healthy, beautiful animals are being killed on a daily basis at the NYC Animal Control Centers.  Most of these animals could be adopted if given more time.  Additionally, there are many rescues willing to take these animals.  Turn the NYC Animal Control Center into "NO KILL" shelters.  Extend their outreach programs, increase their advertising budget, and provide for more space and better trained employees and volunteers.
