Next December will mark 40 years since the first broadcast of The Horns of Nimon – the final serial of the 17th season of Doctor Who.

This serial can boast an immersive setting, extraordinary monsters, a thrilling storyline and characters that are among the most memorable in the show. 

Yet The Horns of Nimon is widely mocked (in a large part due to a viral video shared by internet trolls) and is, in our opinion, one of the most underappreciated serials of the classic Doctor Who era.

That's why we want to call upon Big Finish Productions to celebrate this amazing serial with a spin-off or a special release of some sort. A prequel story about young Soldeed and his rise to power on Skonnos seems to be the most obvious choice.

Obviously, the late Graham Crowden cannot reprise his iconic role and will have to be recast, but we believe in Big Finish Productions. We believe that Big Finish Productions can bring new life to the story of Skonnos and its' eccentric ruler, like they did with so many places and characters of classic and new Doctor Who alike.
