This season, Big Brother 21, has used animals or living beings 4 times in competitions. Each of the three Whacktivity Competitions used animals, including some being tied up needlessly in the Nightmare Competition. This past week’s Veto competition consisted of houseguests chasing and wrangling sheep, with houseguests discussing the animals being tackled before feeds cutting. 

This use of animals is especially confusing because Big Brother typically does excellent work promoting pet adoption. They partner with the Humane Society and feature adorable cats and dogs on their live feeds during breaks. 

Tell Big Brother and CBS that they don’t need to use animals in competitions to have an entertaining show.
