Hi,all.  "Thyroid Patients Need Better Treatment NOW,"
the petition I started in memory of my brother, Jordan, has
4,219 signatures as of this writing!  I wasn't feeling well 
enough to write a good letter to the White House to submit
what I have, so far....it was easier to see if I could just collect
more signatures, so it'd be more impressive when I send
everything in.  My goal now is to try to get closer to 5,000
signatures, and send it to the White House after the first of
the year, when everyone's back from vacation in Washington, D.C.

I was wondering if any of you could help me get closer to that
5,000 signature mark, by sharing the petition again with anyone
you think would be interested, and/or contributing anything at
all to Change.org to help them promote this petition, specifically.

I think there is a place that says "Promote" on the petition page,
and you click that to proceed.  Any amount is good--I don't get
any of it, personally.  What the money helps pay for is showing
the petition to people who regularly participate in Change.org.
It lets them read it, and decide if they'd like to sign. I have
contributed money myself, even though it's a hardship, and it
does help.  I'll probably contribute again, but if anyone would
like to help, that'd be fine.  Sharing the petition yourself is 
really good, too, and I've tried to do a lot of that, myself, as 
well.  Everything helps! :) 

I think having 5,000 signatures (or closer to it) would make a
good, strong statement that thyroid care reforms are indeed
important, and there are a lot of people who would like to see 
our issues addressed and fixed.  If we can be successful with
this petition, it will help a lot of people.  I wish someone 
would've done something like this to help Jordan, our mom,
her mom (Grandma Sarah), me and so many others who
struggled to get early and good thyroid care--but didn't get it.
So, let's try to make things better for patients in the future.
