Wedela has turned to be a crime zone. We hear gunshots everyday , young people get killed , our parents get killed , we have also lost a police officer due to this gunshots. On Sunday a young school girl was shot dead after they tried to rape her. A mother was stapped to death in her own house , a boy was shot dead in his own home. 

We no longer feel safe as the community of Wedela Bheki Cele please intervene , military force please intervene. The police in this community are failing us. We have matched to the police station several times and none has been done with our situation, how long must we live in fear? Who should die next before we get help? Siyaisaba lendawo , who should we turn to? 

We need peace , protection in this community , the blood that has been shed is enough. We don't feel safe in our own home's , our own streets.
