Honorable Prime Minister,
We Bhartiya Gauvansh Rakshan Sanvardhan Parishad Mumbai (India Based NGO) working towards welfare Rights and compassionate towards voiceless animals since decades. The purpose of communicating with you is we respect you as indulgent, rational and enlightened P.M. of Bangladesh.
Madam Prime Minister, today the world is shocked and pained to see videos and read news of barbaric slaughtering of crores of voiceless animals on the name of religious sacrifice in Bangladesh. On the name of rituals, cruelty in Bangladesh was at peak across the globe. On the name of religion it was apparent violation of Islam decree. Not only Great Allah but no little sensible human will accept these brutal practices. The show on street was awful. World is frustrated to witness such unseen & unruly massacre of innocent animals. And in case of cattle, Bangladesh is as such since inception facing severe crisis and hence smuggling from India in millions which is absolutely unethical and putting your relationship under stress with versed neighbor.
Peoples across globe fail to understand what prompted ghastly action to your countrymen? Had they forgotten famous preach of pavitara Qur’on : It is not their flesh, nor their blood, that reaches Allah; it is your righteousness {piety and spiritual volition} that reaches Him….Their flesh will never reach Allah, nor yet their blood, but your devotion will reach Him (Qur'an 22:37)? Honorable Prime Minister you are the guardian of all living creatures housed in your country. Madam, please think of trauma, pain, fear, misery, fatality and anguish of these helpless indigent animals had to encounter. Have you seen rivers of blood flowing on the streets of your nation? Pain Waves and screaming of innocent animals invites unpredictable calamities and catastrophe on the earth. Bangladesh has seen such devastation during year 2007 which we prey never repeat anywhere. Such massacre instantly leaves disastrous impacts on environment, it contaminates water, it spoils the soil and crops and degrade moral values. Entire globe is either giving up or mitigating such barbaric practice and adopting modern, logical, ethical compassionate views.
We are urging you to end this barbarism forever and bestow dignified life to human and animal stationed in your country. Make stringent Animal welfare laws and prevention of cruelty to animal laws immediately. We also request you to adopt Universal Declaration of Animal Rights 1978 (UDAW) which is announced by UNESCO, signed by 44 countries and 2millon people worldwide. Human & Animal both should forever feel safe on your land.
