Fair Treatment for Debra Bryant and Junior

Fair Treatment for Debra Bryant and Junior
The Issue
I know there are two sides to every story. This is the story as Debra Bryant tells it.
Debra's son Kevin, who died two years ago, owned a Pitbull mix named Junior and now Debra owns him. He is all she has left of her son and is tremendous emotional support for Debra now her son is gone.
Four years ago Junior was in the back seat of her pickup truck at McDonald's in Hillsborough. He jumped out and tragically killed a small dog in the parking lot. This went to court then and the District Attorney at that time threw the case out. However, the dog was deemed dangerous at that point and Debra was told to confine him at home. At the end of December 2019, a Dish Network technician was at her house and with all the commotion, Junior got out the front door. Debra ran out, got him on a leash, and while walking him back into her house her neighbor insisted on saying hello to Junior. He jumped up on her and scratched her arm.
This young lady's boyfriend, who was not present when the incident occurred, called Orange County (NC) Animal Control and reported the dog bit his girlfriend. The young lady told Animal Control that she was not bitten but Animal Control said they had to go with the first report. They are now going to Euthanize Junior on Monday, JANUARY 27, 2020. So, it's imperative you sign this before then!
Debra has been fighting for Junior's life and is speaking with an Animal Rights attorney. If he absolutely has to be euthanized then she wants to be allowed to take him to her veterinarian so she can hold him and say goodbye, not have him callously put down at the shelter without being with a person who loves him.
