📢 Campaign Update: Beyond the Sentence UK is Growing
When I started this petition, I thought I was simply sharing my own story.
I never imagined so many survivors would come forward and trust me with theirs.
Over the past few weeks I’ve received messages from victims across the UK who have bravely shared their experiences of domestic abuse, stalking, coercive control and repeat offending. Although every story is different, one thing is painfully clear: too many survivors are still living in fear long after a conviction has been secured.
This campaign has become about far more than me.
It has become about all of us.
To help the campaign grow, I’ve now created a dedicated Facebook page called Beyond the Sentence UK.
The page will be a place to:
💜 Share survivor stories (anonymously if requested).
💜 Raise awareness of domestic abuse, stalking and coercive control.
💜 Share facts, statistics and educational content.
💜 Keep everyone updated on the progress of the petition.
💜 Continue campaigning for stronger protections for victims of repeat violent offenders.
If you’re a survivor and would like your story to be heard, please know you’re not alone. You don’t have to use your name, and there is absolutely no pressure. Every voice matters, and together we can help people understand the reality of living with abuse and why meaningful change is so desperately needed.
