We have tonight written to the developers of the Westbrook Centre to deliver our petition in favour of new walking links to the redeveloped Westbrook Centre, which has reached almost 300 signatures! This is a phenomenal response which demonstrates the demand and support for these vital walking links in our community. A huge thanks to everyone who has signed the petition.

We have asked the developer to:

• Reinstate the Corona Road link and provide the vital links to both Lilywhite Drive and Gilbert Road as part of their plans
• Seek to understand the reasons behind any objections from some residents of Corona Road and Lilywhite Drive and provide a proportionate response to any legitimate concerns, while providing these vital and popular walking links

We look forward to their response and will keep you updated.
