We delivered leaflets to residents on Corona Road yesterday to highlight the benefits of these new walking links for residents living there:

• Safer routes for children walking to school (avoiding Mitcham’s corner)
• Easier access to new community facilities (café, hireable meeting rooms, exhibition and conference space, and a play area) at redeveloped Westbrook Centre 
• Quicker, safer access to Chesterton Sports Centre and other destinations off Gilbert Road
• Easier and safer to walk around your local area
• Improved air quality and reduced congestion

We received several new supporters after delivering leaflets and have also been contacted by a resident of Corona Road who told us how they support the links, demonstrating that opposition there is not universal.
