The Issue

Hi there, my name is Gabby and I've created this petition in memory of my late father Chucksacca. Who passed away in 2016 after battling cancer for 3 years. My father was an avid gamer who had so much love for the Fallout franchise in particular. He fell so in love that he started to stream the Fallout games on Twitch - even going so far to buy a new gaming laptop to play the next game in the franchise: Fallout 4. As the November release date grew closer my father's health continued to decline. By the time the game had come out my father could barely get out of bed, let alone play a game on his computer. In January of 2016, my father passed away without ever finishing the game he waited decades for. He had only just made it out of the tutorial stage and into Concord.

In December of 2020, I went onto Twitch as Gabbusacca with the goal to finish Fallout 4 in my father's place. And I did just that! I felt connected to my father again after playing my own solo playthrough of Fallout 4. Now as we approach the 10 year anniversary of Fallout 4's release and the 10 year anniversary of my father's death I am going back to the franchise that helped raise me. My father, Chucksacca, dedicated his Twitch account to completing all of the Fallout games in order, starting from Wasteland all the way to Fallout 4. I plan to stream and complete all these games in my father's place - with the goal of raising funds for cancer research and to ask Bethesda for a favor.

"Bethesda, I ask you to honor my father in any way you can in the next Fallout game. When my father played your games he was no longer a man dying of cancer or a father leaving his family behind. He could go into a different world entirely, be someone new. He didn't have to carry the burdens of reality when he would sit down to play. Growing up I would sit down next to my father at the kitchen table for hours watching him play. Please allow my father to be immortalized within the gaming franchise he loved so much. " - Gabbusacca

If you have read this far, I thank you. And if this message resonates with you I ask that you help me get this message to Bethesda. To help them connect with a very old time fan who can no longer play their wonderful games. Please sign, share, donate, or follow my journey on twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/gabbusacca
