We demand that our NY US congressional district 20 representative follow the will of its constituency and Congressman Paul Tonko change his endorsement pledge to US Senator Bernie Sanders, candidate for the 2016 Democratic Presidential nomination. CD 20 overwhelmingly chose Senator Sanders as our choice for the nomination and we pledge to only support candidates who are beholden to representing the will of their constituents. There is not enough admiration in the world that can be maintained when an elected official decides they are above the majority that elected them, it is with much respect we ask to be represented accordingly, we know our power, and that "we the people" are to whom elected are beholden to, not the corporations (or corporation like party elites).
