The Democratic Party had two chances to nominate a popular, progressive, working class champion (Bernie Sanders). Both times, party elites did everything possible to destroy the Sanders campaign and the progressive movement. 

The Democratic Party has made clear that every time we try to make significant progress that helps the working class and vulnerable minorities, they are going to use their immense power and money to stop us. 

The Democratic Party has made it clear that it is not a vehicle for change.

It's time for a new, progressive, people-oriented third party. Let's call it "The People's Union". It's a political party that runs candidates for public office, but it's also a union of human beings banding together, fighting for each other, and uniting against wealthy and powerful forces that want to gain more wealth and power at our expense.

There are MILLIONS of people you don't know who are willing to fight for you as well. Because it's not about our selfish desires. It's not about "me". It's about "us".
