The Issue

As seen in recent news, the installation of garbage catching nets on drain pipes in areas of high pollution mainly urban, is a simple and very cost effective method of reducing scattered garbage and environmentally detrimental waste. I am only one man, but I firmly believe this is a logical and solid step into the right direction. Currently, we are not only polluting our own cities and surrounding areas with high amounts of toxic plastics, we are polluting entire ecosystems far downstream from our initial pollution point. As many are on the fence about climate change, I ask you to just consider our animals and wildlife alive right now that are being poisoned and swallowed alive by a never ending stream of garbage. We can do something right now to turn the tide. And it doesn't require anything other than attaching nets on designated pipes and waterways, excluding those that may be a natural migratory route for certain species. I emplore anyone reading this to do something for your planet and your childrens future. Because in the end, we all have a duty to our planet no matter our political affiliation, religion, or sex.
