Dear Bernie,

Your dedicated volunteers are concerned about the direction that #OurRevolution is headed under the direction of Jeff Weaver.  

Jeff's leadership style is going to cost OurRevolution some of it's most dedicated staff and volunteers.  He's not a team leader, and has had repeated complaints of miscommunication, bullying, dismissive and created negative team environments.  His standard response is "There's the Door!"

As a 501(c)4, there is no accountability required from the president and chairman of the board.  He can take money from whomever and doesn't need to report it. That's the same "Dark Money" tactic that corrupted the entire political system. Bernie Sanders, you inspired us all with your revolutionary message of NOT FOR SALE.  

Jeff would like to take big money from rich people including billionaires and spend it on ads. Isn't that the exact opposite of what this movement is supposed to be about?

Jeff's idea of how a campaign or an organization should run is outdated and ineffective.  He clearly does not understand distributed organizing, and seems to think it's not necessary.  He repeatedly made decisions during the Sanders campaign to limit resources and efforts of organizing volunteers.

The resignations of several senior staff as a result of Jeff Weaver will be highly damaging to OurRevolution.  I personally have worked with many of these highly dedicated folks - and THEY have the vision and the ability, and most importantly, the desire to move the revolution forward in a way that stays true to the ideas and agenda of the Sanders 2016 campaign and NOT big money.

Is it really worth it to lose Claire Sandberg, Kenneth Pennington, Paul Schaeffer, Ceci Hall, Kyle Machado, Ericka Andiola, Nick Brana and Chris Mabry, just to bring Jeff Weaver and his big money ideas into OurRevolution?  I don't think so, and we the undersigned have no desire to be part of something that Billionaires can buy under Jeff's "leadership".

Bernie - We ask you to PLEASE reconsider including Jeff in the leadership of OurRevolution.
