The students and parents of Interboro School District should take action and ask the school board to reconsider the current uniform policy.

It is costly for parents to pay for one school wardrobe and one for outside of school. School uniforms are not cheap, and if the school paid for every students school wardrobe they would find that out VERY quickly.

We, the students, have no way to express our individuality through our appearance. We should celebrate the diverse minds that Interboro School district holds and let them express their individuality through appearance. Having a unique appearance deserves celebration not punishment.

I know that the point of uniform is to create a community atmosphere in the school but if everyone were to think and act the same the world would be boring and not diverse. And dressing the same has a similar affect.

If another student would be distracted by something I was wearing I shouldn't have to pay the consequences. It was, after all, the other student who paid attention to my wardrobe instead of the teacher.
