We ask the Bermuda Government to commit to not roll out any vaccination status or travel restrictions to the Bermudian public. Such mandated regulations could be used to restrict the rights of movement for people who have refused a Covid-19 vaccine, which would be unacceptable. 

On April 25, 2021 Premier David Burt stated that effective June 6, 2021 all non-immunized travelers entering Bermuda will be subject to a supervised quarantine period of 14 days at a government facility at their own expense. We the people of Bermuda humbly request that should we have to travel as non-immunized locals that we be allowed to quarantine at home and not face undo expense by quarantining at a government facility. If you can trust the vaccinated and tourists, why can you not trust your own Bermudians?

The Bermuda government is trying to scare local Bermudians into vaccination by the threat of impossible travel restrictions. Coercion is not consent! 

Should Bermuda take this first step into segregation between vaccinated and unvaccinated we believe that it will only be the first step into unlawful and unethical societal cohesion.

This regulation of mandated quarantine will further "create a two-tier society where some people can access support and freedoms, while others are shut out - with the most marginalised among us hardest hit".

Exclusion and devision are evident enough and this new mandate is not a satisfactory road out of lockdown for the average Bermudian!
