15 countries and cities around the world have made serious strides in the race against plastic, and the rest of us can learn a lot from them. Lets take this to Israel! Lets be the fist country in the Middle East to ban single-use plastic straws (as the first step to banning single-use plastics). Lets ban plastic straws in restaurants and coffee places and parks (everywhere!). It can start in Tel Aviv, which is THE place to start, since there is so much tourism, and it is also the vegan capital in the Middle East. Just to be clear, the capital of Israel is Jerusalem.
