Citizens Band Radio (CB Radio) has been a cheap and popular means of communication back in the day. It was during the Presidency of Ferdinand Marcos when the ban on CB radio was imposed by Presidential decree, since then no new CB'ers were allowed to legally own and  use one.

During times of Emergencies, natural disasters, CB'ers have been proactive in assisting with radio communications using this medium. 

CB is a cheap alternative means of establishing communications in rural areas where cellular service is poor or unavailable. 

Furthermore, because of its affordability the ordinary Filipino will be able to get one and use it.

In the U.S., the F.C.C. does not even require CB to have a license anymore.

This petition  I hope would reach everyone who loves CB,  have used it one time in their lives, and  those who still have the passion for this hobby.
