Three Lumad leaders and teachers were shot dead in their community and up until now, justice hasn’t been given to them. It seems that the country’s judiciary system has overlooked this inhumane act. This is one of the concrete evidences that the Philippines supports selective justice. We would like to call on the President to put a stop on this. Act upon the Lumad killings—these people should be given fair treatment. If these can't be solved by the current president, then we are challenging the candidates of the 2016 Presidential elections to make a stand. Show us that the country’s justice system is for the people and is impartial to everyone.

Lumads is another term for indigenous people which are located in certain parts of Mindanao. These innocent people are victims of the conflict between the Philippine government and the NPA or the New Peoples Army.
