Petition updateNo Gas Station @ Brosterhous & Murphy710 NW Wall St. Wed night at 7pm: City Council listens to the people or punts

Hi Neighbors,

We hope to see you at 710 NW Wall Street tomorrow night at 7pm.

Attending in person with your handmade sign will be the best way to communicate our united position to Bend City Council. Our local news stations are planning to attend as well, and will cover our opposition as well as our City Council's decision.

We're pretty confident that the gas station won't be discussed during the Working Session, so we encourage you to join us in Council Chambers at 7pm.

In order to speak, you'll fill out a sign-up sheet prior to the start of the Council meeting and hand it to the organizer who stands near the podium. It's totally up to you, but consider NOT writing "gas station" on the sign-up sheet. Attending by Zoom is an option, but City Council does not seem to pay too much attention to online viewer numbers.

Wednesday night's meeting is the most important decision in this fight. If City Council decides NOT to hear our appeal and passes the buck to LUBA, winning our appeal will be extremely difficult.

Thank you for all your support and for joining together in opposing this crazy gas station!
-Sara, Susi and the SE Bend Neighbors for Responsible Development team
