Vets in this area are TERRIBLE. I have 4 ferrets and everytime they need help I have no choice but to go to Cornell, which is very very very expensive for no reason at all. I am sick of the fact that there is absolutely nobody available to help no matter how many vets you call. There should always be an exotic vet available somewhere so your exotic pet doesn’t DIE. Vets are supposed to care, therefore they should care for all animals, not just cats and dogs. A PETITION TO OPEN A EXOTIC VET OFFICE 7 DAYS A WEEK. OR TO MAKE SURE THAT SOME VET OFFICES ARE HAVING THEIR EXOTIC VETS AVAILABLE ON THE WEEKENDS TOO BECAUSE NOT A SINGLE ONE DOES. THESE ANIMALS’ LIVES MATTER, WE SHOULD MAKE SURE THEY ALWAYS HAVE CARE AVAILABLE FOR THEM.
