The new Olympia Hills proposal will be voted on this month.  The Salt Lake County Council is looking for more feedback from residents.  We CAN make a difference, but only with our strength in numbers!

There are three VERY simple ways to get involved.

1.  Call in tonight and voice your concern

The council will hold their first public hearing regarding the new proposal tonight.  The location will be at the Salt Lake County offices @ 6pm, but you can call in and comment if you are unable to attend.  It does not have to be complicated!  Just tell them you are concerned about the development and want them to vote NO!

Call 385-468-7480 @ 6 pm tonight to comment on the proposal.  It will only take a few minutes!

2.  Come to the Public Hearing in Herriman on January 28th, 6 pm @ Copper Mountain Middle School.  This one is a MUST!!!

The meeting will take place in the auditorium of Copper Mountain Middle School (12106 Anthem Park Blvd (5600 W), Herriman, UT).  It is imperative that we have great attendance at this meeting as they are making the effort to come to Herriman.  Please come comment or just attend to show your support for the community.

3.  Email your council members

This is a lot easier than you might think.  Just send one email to all of the council members at once. It does not have to be anything big.  The email can be as simple as,

Hello Salt Lake County Council,

As a resident of the Southwest Valley, I ask that you vote no on the current Olympia Hills proposal.  I am concerned about a number of items in the proposal and I believe there should be more research done.  We have paid $250,000 for the Southwest Visioning Study and it is only right that we see it through before approving this development.

Thank you
